As the milder months of spring draw to a close, we begin to experience the drying effects of summer heat on our skin. The key to maintaining healthy skin is preparation. Be sure to hydrate and moisturize with your favorite argan oil immediately after cleansing the skin. This is especially true for parts of our bodies that feel the most stress. These areas include the face, hands, arms, legs, chest, neck, back and feet. In short, don't neglect your skin when drier weather appears. Also, always nourish your skin with argan oil after sun exposure to aid in recovery. Here's to a healthy, beautiful summer!

How to Make Calming Lavender Argan Oil

The calming, anti-inflammatory properties of lavender blended with the gentle, ultra-nourishing properties of argan oil make this DIY beauty recipe ideal for all skin types and those who suffer from acne.

What you will need:

  • 1/2 ounce Beta Naturals Argan Oil
  • 10 drops lavender essential oil
  • 1 oz bottle (amber color preferred) with a dropper cap to store the mixture

Add argan oil and lavender essential oil to the one ounce bottle.  Close cap tightly.  Gently shake the bottle for approximately five seconds.  For best results, apply one drop of the blend to each cheek, as well as the forehead and neck. Store mixture in a cool area, out of direct sunlight.
